Popular musician, Daddy Showkey, says zeal is the secret to his success in the music industry.
Speaking during an interview, the dreadlock wearing artist revealed that most successful musicians are from poor homes. He also added that it is the zeal they put into their career that makes them succeed.
“Nothing comes easy. To succeed you have to work hard. Everything that glitters is not gold. I come from a home where my mother was not rich. She was a teacher, but I struggled to get to where I am,” says the singer who is known for hit songs such as ‘Ghetto Soldier’, ‘Showkey Again’, ‘Diana’, ‘One Day’, ‘Welcome’ amongst others.
