Tiwa Savage Alleges Gender Inequality During Protest

Amidst the EndSARS protest in Nigeria, there is an allegation of gender inequality.
This was brought to the fore by singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage in a Twitter post.
Following a tweet that acknowledged the efforts of individuals like Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy in the EndSARS protest, Tiwa Savage questioned the recognition given to the self-acclaimed African Giant who had been heavily criticised for being silent at the beginning of the protest.
According to the ‘Koroba’ singer, the fact that Burna Boy was recognised and female participants such as Tacha, Alex, Toke Makinwa, Mercy, and other great women who came out for the protest were not is a sign of gender inequality.
