At least, two people have been killed in an operation by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
The duo were allegedly killed when operatives of the NDLEA conducted a raid in the Idi-Oro Area of Mushin in Lagos State, on Wednesday night, July 26.
Channels TV reports that operatives of the agency stormed the area on Wednesday, July 26, night to apprehend some drug dealers.
According to eyewitnesses, the operation which lasted hours led to sporadic shooting as the NDLEA officers were challenged by some boys in the area.
Stray bullets allegedly from the operatives of the anti-narcotics agency hit at least two people in the community while some were said to be injured.
However, the NDLEA officers later left the community with bags of substances suspected to be cannabis sativa also known as Indian hemp.
Meanwhile, NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, is yet to react to this development.
