Ukraine: We Would Facilitate Evacuation Of Nigerians When Airports Opened-FG

The Nigerian government has stated that it will help to facilitate the evacuation of Nigerians in Ukraine as soon the airports in the country are opened.
The Federal Government said that it plans to evacuate Nigerians who are willing to leave the country.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisca Omayuli, says the Nigerian government is surprised by the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian military.
The ministry added that the Nigerian Embassy in Ukraine has reassured the safety of Nigerians in Ukraine, stating that measures have so far been put in place to keep them safe and facilitate their evacuation if they wish to leave the country.
