Joe Biden has taken his oath of office as the 46th President of America.
His oath of office was read to him by the Supreme Court Chief Justice, John Roberts.
He took the oath of office at exactly 11: 48, 12 minutes before noon.
Constitutionally, Biden does not become President until noon, as there can only be one President at a time.
Biden’s oath of office follows that of America’s Vice President, Kamala Harris. With the oath of office by Harris, becomes the first female Vice President of America, and the first Indian American to serve as a U.S.
