A video of how Ivorian singer, DJ Arafat, died on Sunday, August 11, has surfaced online.
Arafat died in a ghastly accident after he was hit by a car while biking with friends.
In the video obtained via Close Circuit Television (CCTV), the superstar is seen riding his motorbike and performing a stunt before he unfortunately rammed into a car at a junction.
DJ Arafat was pronounced dead on Monday, August 12, after he was admitted to a hospital in Abidjan, with a fractured skull.
DJ Arafat died at the age of 33. Prior to his death, he was considered the most popular youthful African artists in Francophone countries around the world, DJ Arafat was one of the first in his country Ivory Coast to obtain 1 million YouTube views in less than a day on his song ‘Moto Moto’.
Real name Ange Didier Huon, he was born on January 26, 1986 and was also known as Arafat Muana.
An ex-disc jockey in “Shangaï” on Princess Street Rue Princesse, located in Yopougon, Ivory Coast, he made music of the Coupé-Décalé genre. DJ Arafat was also popular for his songs including “Ventripotent”.
