The Department of State Services (DSS), has revealed that it knows those behind the planned nationwide protest over the rising cost of living.
Recall that groups have announced that they will stage demonstrations across states in the country from August 1 to August 10, to protest economic hardship in the country.

In a statement released on Thursday, July 25, DSS spokesperson Peter Afunanya revealed that the agency is employing “non-kinetic measures and conflict resolution” strategies to address the situation and prevent any potential unrest.
This comes after several notable individuals including the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewaure II, joined Nigerians to urge the country’s youths not to protest.
