What’s Up With Aristokrat Group?

Aristokrat Group prides itself on discovering and nurturing talents.
Indeed, the platform has discovered a handful of average artistes with the biggest to date being Burna Boy.
However, it appears to have derailed in ideology, joining the bandwagon syndrome of entertainment companies and individuals signing deals with Universal Group Music (UGM).
Aristokrat Group recently announced a partnership with Universal Music France (UMF), a division of UMG.
The partnership is a label and publishing deal through Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).
Through the partnership, Aristokrat Group and UMG will work together to discover and develop exciting new African talent, giving artistes and songwriters the opportunity to reach global audiences.
The ability of the deal to benefit Aristokrat Group’s artistes such as Kel P, JujuboyStar, and Tneeya has however been questioned, especially with Tiwa Savage one of UMG’s earlier signees struggling to shine since joining.
