It was celebration galore recently when the management of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) locked down the ancient city of Benin, for its Head of Datatech, Mr. Isa Aruna, to say “I do” to his belle, Miss Kikanwa Agholor.
Members of the COSON family present included the general manager, Mr. Chinedu Chukwuji, head of finance and administration Ms. Bernice Eremeghe, head of licensing, Mr. Chibueze Okereke, senior executive licensing, Mr. Efe Enahowo and executive officer, finance and administration, Mr. Anthony Imuse. Also present was COSON Coordinator in Edo/Delta states, Prince Biodun Egwakhide.
Addressing the newly married couple, the officiating minister at the Oredo marriage registry advised them to remain faithful to each other and also stressed that it is a criminal offence for anyone of them to quit the marriage without passing through the court which had joined them together.
Also speaking at the traditional engagement ceremony, the Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Wilson Okoro, advised the couple to live in harmony and to seek God first in all of their endeavours. He also advised them to avoid third parties in sorting out their differences in the future.
Expressing his thanks to those who took out time to honour them, the groom, Mr. Aruna also prayed for God’s blessings on all who had contributed in making the day a success.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Chukwuji said, “I share in the couple’s joy today as they have become one. I wish them many fruitful years ahead and God’s guidance in the journey ahead”.
