Nigerian singer, Naira Marley might have been granted a 2 million Naira bail on Friday, May 31, but he will remain in Ikoyi prison till Monday, June 3.
The reason is simply because he is yet to meet up with his bail.
Explaining the intricacies of the bail, a lawyer who spoke with www.theoctopusnews.com, revealed that it is one thing to be granted bail and another to meet up the bail conditions. Until it is met, the defendant will remain in detention, he said.
The artiste’s management has come out to state that the bail conditions had been meet, but they were awaiting confirmation from the court.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), arrested Naira Marley, Rahman Jago and Zlatan Ibile in the early hours of Friday, May 10 for alleged cyber fraud related offence.
