DJ Jimmy Jatt has identified the reason Nigeria has a lot of DJs.
Picking the industry as the weakest link in the entertainment sector, the popular DJ said that Nigerians always want to be seen wherever people appear to be succeeding. This, he said has increased the number of DJs in the country.
According to him, only a few DJs in the country have really carved a career for themselves and can say that they are really successful.
“Simply put, I think it is just the bandwagon mentality of our people. So, once it is this, everybody heads in that direction. And then, people tend to disregard the fact that for every guy you see out there, there are loads of people behind him.”
DJ Jimmy Jatt also blamed the professional DJs for the problem in the industry, adding that they have not placed themselves where they ought to be.
