‘Pawan’ is one of the songs currently enjoying massive airplay in the Nigerian music industry.
A typical Olamide joint, it is a hit song that boasts of good rhythm, but lacks any message, reeking of profanity.
While a call for its ban when it was initially released could have been considered out of place, the release of its video has seen critics condemning it.
A video of semi-nude ladies twerking while a crowd of people restrained by a metal fence leer can hardly be described as positive content for television.
Known to have justified earlier released controversial songs including ‘Science Student’, ‘Wo’ and ‘Wavy Level’, music pundits are pondering on when the NBC will ban this particular song.
