Yeni Kuti, the elder sister of Afrobeat maestro Femi Kuti is enjoying her life to the hilt.
As you read, the woman who is almost 60 is in a gay mood.
The reason is simple. According to her, her partner invited her to Abuja for dinner.
“He is celebrating today and he wants me to be by his side. I played hard to get, but now I am going,” she said.
Yeni Kuti also added that she is traveling to Abuja to be with her partner, as he gets conferred with “fellow” by the Nigerian Institute of Architects.
Yeni Kuti is a single parent having had a child with broadcaster Femi Segun years back. Now late, prior to Femi Segun’s death, they parted ways leaving room for her to move on with her life.
She subsequently found love in the arm of Theo Lawson, who is regarded as a respected Nigerian architect.
Since 2001, he has been a partner of the Lawson+Odeinde Partnership. Some of his notable projects includes the redesigning of the old Broad Street Prison to a theme park, now known as Freedom Park. He is also responsible for the redesigning of the residence of the legendary Afrobeat artiste, Fela Anikulapo-kuti into a museum named Kalakuta Museum.
Theo Lawson has also been the chairman of Felabration Organizing Committee since 2008.
