Youth Ambassador: Wale Adenuga Blast Gov. Dapo Abiodun
Reactions have been pouring in on the ambassadorial appointment bestowed on winner of Big Brother Naija Lockdown show, Laycon.
Recall that the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun had hosted Laycon, an indigene of the state on Tuesday, October 6, during which he was named an ambassador of the state and gifted N5 million cash plus a three bedroom bungalow.
Reacting to the appointment and the gifts, Wale Adenuga shared his thoughts in a post on his Instagram page.
According to him, the governor’s decision is “disheartening”
”I’m totally disheartened by the Governor of Ogun state making the winner of #bbnaija an ambassador of the state, rewarding him further with cash and a house.
“No thanks to you sir for further entrenching the sad narrative that we are a nation that rewards trivialities and mediocrity.
“Our values keeps going to the dogs!’,’ Adenuga wrote.
